So, Black Swan is coming to the indie movie theater next week and Lisa and I are excited beyond belief. We have been telling all the kids about this movie and it’s coming here! I feel like the WHOLE SCHOOL [which is a whooping 90 people] will be there, which we are excited about. I kid from class, Gianni [Who I thought was named Johnny for about a week now] told us we should make posters to put around the school “Come watch Black Swan with the Americans.” Baha, yeah right. We still keep a pretty low profile, just to make sure we stay out of peoples way, but students talk to us more and more each day and we always have Andreas who loves to speak english and is the nicest person we’ve met here.

We had another “Illustrator Input” aka a tutorial, yesterday where we learned how to build 3D shapes in illustrator. The class room is always buzzing in swiss german and it sounds like Sim language to us, but everyone once in a while we will hear english phrases. Mostly exclamations like “shit!” and “oh my god” but yesterday the guido version of Micheal Cera was yelling out Harry Potter spells. It was quiet entertaining. It is weird because they definitely know what we are saying at all times, but we haven’t the slightest clue what they are saying. But I am used to it by now, and when we hear a breath of english it is awesome.

I also felt like a true Luzerner yesterday night, 3 brits came up to us and asked if we spoke english and where the closest McDonalds was. We understood their need for food other than pretzels and cheese and falafel and we lead them in the right direction.

Today we do not have class because the rest of the students are in their academic classes, but at 3 pm we have a tour of Luzern with the Art History Professor, I am excited it should be interesting.

We are going shopping for new shoes this weekend because these cobbled streets are burning holes in our current boots and I excitedly await our trip to Zurich with Flo and Gianni for Freitag bags. We will look like swiss design students in no time/
